CreativeLIVE used to be just about photographers but this year branched out to include business, software, lifestyle and other topics in the live classes you can watch for free or (hopefully) purchase to watch at your leisure. Most of the classes go from 9am to 4pm with a 45 minute break for lunch. But what is great is that CreativeLIVE rebroadcasts the class shortly after 4 without breaks and then again around 10pm and, I assume again at 4am (never been up to check that one).
I have learned much from the photography classes and even purchased a few (my only reason for not buying more is that I cannot keep up with what I am learning for free). But adding business and other classes has made this online portal so much more interesting.
Besides learning how to better use my camera, Lightroom, and Photoshop, from some of the best photographers and teachers in the business, I have now taken classes about the Personal MBA with Josh Kaufman, Networking with Porter Gale, Duct Tape Marketing with John Jantsch, and more.
This week I am catching what I can of Fat Burning with Abel James of FatBurningMan.com fame. I have listened to him on podcasts and have enjoyed what I have been able to catch during the day and when it is rebroadcast in the evening. He is summing up much of what I have learned these past 15 months when I gave up crap, cutting wheat, sugar, and processed foods from my diet with some interesting pointers and suggestions.
