ver·tig·i·nous
adjective – \v?r-?ti-j?-n?s\
- causing or likely to cause a feeling of dizziness especially because of great height
From learning chess at 8 to winning the Soviet chess crown at 16, Mikhail Tal was a master chess player and vertiginous is a perfect word to describe his rise.
I would like to find some ways to use this word in my everyday vocabulary but the closest I come to feeling vertiginous is when I get out of bed too quickly.
